The April Posts

Appropriate measures against Corona will certainly apply to the Netherlands until 28 April, which is roughly equivalent to #stayathome .... It was not entirely unexpected. On the one hand it feels good, because of course we have to go to a situation where we can prevent instead of cure, but on the other hand it is of course very unnatural. Fortunately, I can use my energy well in my passion, and that has continued to inspire you in the field of art.
For this month I have planned the following posts on social media:

- for the section 'IN THE PICTURE' on Mondays, I selected artist Zeiko Duka. She depicts her dreams and imagination in a symphony of color palette, that burst out of the canvas with the emotional force of the spring;
- on Sundays I introduce to you the special jewelry collections of Jakubowski & Vlasblom using the 'MINI MOODBOARDS'. Each and every one of them unique art pieces of the highest quality, made by two very driven and passionate goldsmiths;
- I would like to draw your attention to the work of the Russian artist Alexandra Nedzvetskaja this month through the 'WANNAHAVES';
- and one of the MUST SEE´s this month is from the special website Performing Arts of Google!

I hope that you will get through this normally sunny and bright month well and that we will meet again soon!
For now, stay healthy and stay at home!

New in our online gallery: Josephine de Jongh

Josephine de Jongh, Dr Josie MD, started intuitive drawing and painting in 2015.

Intuitive art is a very direct way to express oneself and make the shift from the head to the heart. ‘Let it flow.’ The idea of intuitive art is not plan anything in front but to be open to what comes up in the moment. It’s a good way to reconnect with oneself, learn to trust intuition, explore the subconscious mind and experience joy, freedom and inner peace. Josephine´s works are characterized by bright colors, curly shapes, elements from nature and light energy. The paintings radiate joy and have a positive impact. After 16 years working as a physician, nowadays dr Josie helps people write and bring out their personal life experience stories. She already published 2 books in Dutch. She gives masterclasses intuitive drawing, exposes her art and is the chairperson of the Ellamo Foundation. This Foundation aims to raise consciousness in the world by films, books and a positive news broadcast. The priority of the Foundation at this moment is empowering women and children in order to improve happiness in the world and to keep the planet habitable for humans and other species in the first place.

New in our Online Gallery: Artist Anita Püspök

"I have a dream, I want my colours to make the world happy.”

Anita Püspök was born in Budapest, Hungary on the 16th of February 1972.
Her paintings represent the modern trend of lyrical abstract. She is inspired by the themes of music, nature and its phenomena; the depth, the flow, the light, sounds and colors, the symbiosis with nature can be felt.
By this,  these magical paintings are born, within the sensual, suggestive and decorative visual world. On the paintings are many layers of paint, various mineral grains and fine layers of loose lacquer alternate, blends of colours give the harmony of the image.
She paints in harmony with spirituality, emotions and colours.

Exciting news for Anita: She has been selected for The Royal Arts Prize Exhibition 2020. This event showcase's some of the world’s best artistic talent and will be held 20th - 29th of February in London.
The Royal Arts Prize allows emerging as well as established artists to reach diverse audiences and to gain invaluable exposure. The prize is awarded to the artist who creates the most meaningful connection and impact, using original thought and creativity to achieve this.

The winner of The Royal Arts Prize will be selected by a judging panel of 8 art relevant persons and will be announced at the end of the show.
